Romantic Weekends

Arrive on a Friday to your romantic private suite with exposed overhead beams, where roses, chocolates, robes, and slippers await you. Relax in the hydro therapy whirlpool and soak all your tensions away. Get cozy in front of the open fireplace and watch a favorite movie from our extensive video library. Enjoy the comfortable four-poster bed and wake up to the aromas of brewed coffee and fresh baked muffins and enjoy the gourmet breakfast prepared and served by your host, European trained chef Johannes.

Afterwards stroll the grounds and nature trails and savor your special day together. On Saturday evening enjoy a candle-lit dinner for two especially prepared for you by Charley's Cafe's Chef / owner Ken Killingsworth. Afterwards head back to Kilburnie for another hydro therapy session in your private bath and you'll be ready for a dreamy and restful sleep. In the morning enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading back to the real world.

Historic Tours & Picnics

A wonderful opportunity for groups (up to 40) to discover and experience the pleasures of historic circa 1773 Craig Farm. Your group will appreciate the beautiful pastoral surroundings of Kilburnie, Craig House, and the classical Pavilion, where guests can relax for a perfect respite. Meal services range from simple picnics to elegantly served Southern luncheons.

Lectures and/or tours of the circa 1834 Craig House and 1828 Kilburnie, both listed on the National Register of Historic Homes, are included. Monday through Thursday only! For price quotes please contact Johannes Tromp at: johannes@kilburnie.com.

To support See Lancaster, our local tourism and economic revitalization agency, we invite individuals (18+) and small groups of up to 6 adults to a guided tour of both Kilburnie & historic Craig House (by appointment only). Murder Mystery Gatherings

Collect a group of friends (up to 10 adults) for a murder mystery dinner and Kilburnie sleep-over with lots of "Who done it?" excitement. Character actors will present clues, which will turn the participants into keen detectives. Be prepared for many surprises and discoveries along the way.

Larger (up to 32 adults) murder mystery dinner gatherings without a Kilburnie sleep-over may take place in the drawing room of historic Craig House located across the road from Kilburnie.
